14 Ways to celebrate Valentines Day

Valentines 2021

Creative ways to celebrate with your loved one

Love is in the air and unfortunately so is Covid-19 still, so this years Valentine’s Day celebrations may have to look a bit different. Don’t worry, we’ve got some creative ideas for you to have the best Valentines Day ever!

We believe there are 3 components to making Valentines Day amazing with your loved one. It has to be intentional, memorable, and value adding. So without further ado here are those ideas for valentines just for you! (ps. the best are #13 & 14 in our opinion):

1) Make a homemade card for your special someone.

Get out some colored paper, some scissors and glue, heck even the paper doilies if you have some! Simple or gaudy, whatever your style. Jazz it up with a few hearts and voila, something he/she is sure to treasure forever. Make sure to fill it with some sentiments. Maybe you write a poem? Maybe you make a list of all their redeeming qualities that you love? Maybe you write suggestive language for intimacy later on? <wink wink> Let it be genuine and filled with sincerity.

2) Make a meal together.

Make sure you are having fun in the kitchen. Be flirtatious. Take different parts of the recipe and working side by side to create a delicious something for the two of you. Pop open a bottle of wine and light a candle to make it more romantic.

3) Watch a romantic comedy and give each other a massage.

Try incorporating a couples scented massage oil as well. Try THIS one for something all-natural. Or if you have a big tub, do a bubble bath and then a massage after. Whatever you like ❤️

4) Play a game

Scrabble, Scattegories, Twister, or the Game of Life. Whatever is your favorite game together, make it a game night. Maybe finish it up with a couples Truth or Dare game that gets your conversations a little bit deeper and can build intimacy.

5) Treasure Hunt or Escape Room Set Up

Set up a series of clues to get your loved one to the grand prize. Or set up an escape room type thing in your house, yard or a park near by that they can unlock clues, solve riddles, put pieces together and find keys to locked boxes or rooms for more clues that will lead them to it. Here is a site with some ideas to get you started.
