Making creative memories during the Holidays
There are two types of people. Those who scoff at Christmas showing up before pumpkin spice has even been laid to rest and those who secretly play festive songs such as “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas,” sporadically through out the entire year. I admit, I am in the latter crowd. Ha! To each their own.
Most people can agree though, that the Holiday season is usually a joyous and celebratory time, no matter when we start to put up the decor or play the tunes.
These were first time painters!
We, at For the Love of Art, enjoy celebrating the season with fun themed Holiday paint events! Just before Halloween we painted a 90’s classic featuring the 3 infamous ladies from everyones favorite, Hocus Pocus! For Thanksgiving we have a simple floral wreath with the words “Thank You,” taking center stage. And for Christmas… let the Santa’s, snowmen, vintage Christmas trucks, Christmas trees and snow landscapes begin! All of December will be whimsical and fun! You won’t want to miss it!
Making memories are the best. What better way to enjoy making holiday memories than to incorporate a fun little DIY project into the season with family and friends.
At our paint events, people of all skill levels lean back, relax and take a load off as they put their brush to the canvas and paint their cares away. Laugh, drink and be merry is the theme for every paint session.
We offer mobile Paint & Sip style events at several local Charleston area hotspots including:
Palmetto Brewing Co. in Charleston on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of each month
Dashi Restaurant in North Charleston on the 1st Saturdays
Uptown Social of downtown Charleston on Tuesdays (see calendar for most up to date)
Estuary Beans & Barley on Johns Island every 3rd Thursday of the month
We also do limited private paint parties by request in the Charleston area where we bring the party to you! If you are interested, please fill out a request a quote on our Private Party page to check availability and pricing.
* If you have children in your life, we are doing a special Parent & Child themed holiday event at Estuary in December as well.
